The management, protection and enhancement of the collections of the University Museum Network are facilitated by cataloguing, a systematic scientific operation that provides in-depth knowledge of the rich heritage held in our Museums and Collections.
The digital cataloguing of the museum’s assets follows the standards laid down by the Central Cataloguing and Documentation Institute of the Italian Ministry of Culture (ICCD), with the aim of disseminating knowledge and making said assets accessible to multiple audiences.
The collections catalogue is continuously updated and enriched as the cataloguing of the collections progresses.
