Welcome to the Zoological Collection of the University of Bologna, where you can stroll around and look at the creatures which have been living on our planet. Game trophies, two great dioramas of Italian environments, an Indian Rhinoceros and a Sunfish: everything in one place! Come and enjoy our collection: you will be surprised by the variety of rare and fascinating animal species you will encounter.

Winter opening hours valid from September 1 to May 31
Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 1pm
Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays: 10am - 6pm

July and August
Wednesday - Sunday: 9am - 1pm
Closed on January 1, May 1, August 15, December 24 and 25
On closed days, the Collection will be accessible by participating in the guided tours, educational workshops and scheduled events.

Groups of more than 10 persons on an independent visit are required to notify the museum venue in advance.
